Heather G: A number of years ago I purchased the most beautiful jade pendant while on vacation in Hawaii. I had plans to find a suitable chain or beads that would showcase the beauty of this very unusual and wonderful item. About ten years had gone by and I was still not able to find an appropriate mount for my pendant. I had seen many of Heather G's pieces and was impress by their artfulness, their uniqueness and by the way that colour, texture and shapes were blended into masterful pieces. I approached Heather with my pendant and advised her that I was looking for something unique that would enhance but not overpower my pendant. I didn't really know at that point exactly what I wanted, but Heather was able to walk me through the process of creating just the right setting for my treasure. We began with something simple; how long did I want my necklace to be? Then began the process of selecting the right beads; how big should they be? What colours would best enhance the natural beauty of the jade on my pendant? Did I want a pattern of sizes and colours built into the necklace? I was afraid I would be overwhelmed by these decisions because I didn't want to select something that I would not be totally happy with, after all these years of waiting. Heather made these decisions very easy for me. She provided me with a wonderful variety of beads to select from, offered much needed advice on what would enhance the pendant best, and showed me the work in progress so that I could make any revisions if I was not totally pleased with the results. I have now had opportunity to wear my new necklace on a few occasions and have had wonderful comments! It is absolutely stunning. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and am looking forward to wearing it for many years to come. Thank you, Heather, for helping me create a unique and beautiful piece.
